C-Brace® KAFO

C-BRACE 2 is microprocessor-controlled and takes freedom of movement to a completely new level. The C-Brace is the first-ever KAFO that allows users to flex their legs under load (to sit down, for example), navigate slopes, walk on uneven terrain, or descend stairs step-over-step. And the C-Brace has even more to offer. It’s smaller, so it can also be worn under clothing; it’s lighter, so the user doesn’t need to exert as much effort when walking. Advanced sensor technology makes the entire gait pattern even more dynamic and responsive. The user can also change settings on their joint, e.g., switching to cycling mode, via a smartphone app.

Custom Boston Brace

The Boston orthosis, a type of TLSO (Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis) brace used to treat the condition, is designed with the utmost care and precision. Made of hard plastic, it incorporates strategically placed pads that apply pressure to specific areas of the torso to provide relief and halt the progression of scoliosis. This custom-made brace is worn for 20-23 hours a day to ensure maximum effectiveness. The Boston version aims to prevent the need for surgery, offering a non-operative treatment option. Compliance with wearing the brace is crucial in achieving the best results.
